July 2021 - Daisy Days Bullet Journal Theme

While the northern hemisphere celebrates summer, it’s winter in Australia - so I wanted to bring the two seasons together in my July bullet journal pages! These daisies are very easy flowers to draw, and I’ve paired them with icy cool lavender and powder blue to represent our chilly winter temperatures. My city doesn’t get very cold, but winter in Brisbane is my favourite time of year!

I wanted to keep my spreads minimal, so I’ve kept the daisies in little clusters to allow for lots of negative space. On some pages they overlap the functional parts of the spread, in others they sit just behind.

Pages & Spreads in this Bujo Layout:

Cover page - some month I want them, and some months I don’t. This month I wanted one! The bold black box is nestled into

Calendar page - just turn the book on the side and you’re all set. My daisies settle into the spaces in the calendar where dates don’t need to sit!

Gratitude log - As ever lately, I’ve got two columns for gratitude this month - each day gets two lines for a grateful note.

Habit tracker - This is the most space-effective single page habit tracker I have come across so far - and I wanted to track lots of habits this month! This way I have space for nine habits.

Sleep tracker - Not much has changed since last month’s sleep tracker, but I wanted to keep the decorations small.

Spending tracker - I changed the name of this page because I’m just not that good at hand-lettering “X”es! This page ends up very busy once it’s filled in, so I like to keep my decorations minimal. I’ll write down all my expenses here, then tally up the month’s totals across each category and transfer those totals back into my overall 2021 spending tracker at the start of my book.

Weekly spreads - By adding in my cover page, I’ve left no space for a goals page without having to add another page opposite, so I’ve worked my goals into my weekly spreads instead! I loved the running to-do lists of the last few months, so I wanted to keep that up - I’ve got space for events on the left page each in their own boxes, and something very new for me on the right - specific boxes for goals, a quote and an intention. I’m hoping that adding these for each week will help keep me focused!

Stationery and Supplies I Used:

I’m using a Notebook Therapy Pastel edition Tsuki bullet journal in Mint Matcha for my 2021 journal (at least for the first half of the year)

The bold black lines and heading lettering was done with the not-brush end of the black Tombow dual brush pen*

The two colours are both Tombows - the *623 (lavender) and the *533 (peacock blue).

I’ve used Bic Intensity fineliners* for all my fineliner needs in this layout.

Keen on this layout but don’t know where to start?

You can grab it as a printable on my Etsy store! You can use it in any month in any year, not just July 2021. Just fill out the numbers for the month you need and you’re ready to get planning.
