Review: Lace & Whimsy Studios Whimsymail Sticker Subscription + More!

Have you ever dreamed of having a collection of stickers, perfectly themed in adorable magical, feminine and pastel motifs, arrive monthly? It sounds like a fairytale, and it feels like one too. That’s the Lace and Whimsy Studios monthly Whimsymail sticker subscription! I tried it out for three months, and also grabbed a couple of mystery sticker packs and a candle during a sale. And now I’m going to show you ALL of it!

This post and video are not sponsored in anyway - I just really wanted to try Whimsymail for myself, and I bought all these items with my own money.

About Whimsymail

Whimsymail is the brainchild of Lace and Whimsy Studios one-woman-genius Kathy D. Clark. Each month Kathy curates a collection of five sticker sheets and one die cut sticker, all themed to match with each other, and sends them out into the world in an envelope adorned in such a way that it both teases at what’s inside, and charms the heck out of your mail delivery person. It’s like having a full bullet journal theme delivered to you each month - all you need to do is assemble it in your journal!

I got the April, May and June Whimsymail deliveries and was enchanted by each! April (which arrived to me in Australia in mid-May) contained a lavender-toned collection of loveliness perfect for that indulgent self-care-at-home vibe: clawfoot tubs, ornate houses, underwear and soft clouds - with a few magical moments thrown in too. May was perfectly timed to precede the arrival of the much-anticipated Barbie movie, with summery sunnies, Barbiecore themes and plenty of pink. June veered into a cottagecore fantasy realm, with green tones, fairies, tarot and goddess stickers. Each month also seems to include a sheet of functional stickers with the days of the week on them, so you could use them to set up a weekly spread.

How Much Does It Cost?

A month-to-month Whimsymail subscription will set you back US$22 a month. If you commit to a quarterly or annual subscription, you can save some dollars - the quarterly option is US$19.80 a month, and the annual option is US$17.60. These prices are correct as of the 28th of July 2023, but might change in the future. I went for the quarterly sub, since I knew I wanted to test out three months to get a solid basis for review.

Mystery Sticker Packs & Magical Candles

When I saw Lace and Whimsy were selling mystery sticker packs in May at $20 a pack, I jumped on it. I grabbed a mystery sticker sheet pack, a mystery die cut pack, and an incredible caramel popcorn scented candle.

The sticker packs had a couple of the same sheets and die cuts as I’d received in the Whimsymail subscriptions, but I’m totally OK with that! I love having several of the same sticker to make sure a theme will last a whole month.

The candle blew me away - I’m not sure if I’ll be able to bring myself to burn it, it’s so pretty and smells like Christmas to me! I was also lucky enough to score two smaller candles as freebies - the Lemon Pound Cake tiny candle is making me want to place another order for the larger size immediately!

Is It Worth It?

I can’t yell this loud enough: YES. I couldn’t be happier with my Lace and Whimsy/Whimsymail experience, and I’m so pumped to start using these stickers immediately! Look out for some of them appearing in my October bullet journal theme (most definitely) and potentially even in September!
