March 2024 Tea Cups & Tea Pots Bullet Journal Theme

It’s no secret that I love a cup of tea - but I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to try a tea theme in my bullet journal! I’m still on my painting challenge, so I took on some watercolour teapots and tea cups, mixed with some sweet washi tape and sticker accents, and I’m so happy with the result. Let’s plan!

Check out the video below to see it all come together - including a mini-tutorial on how to do the painted teapots and cups! Or scroll on for more photos.

Quote Page & Cover Page

Inspired by the iconic Royal Albert tea sets, I went for an off-white colour scheme for the base of my ceramics - I mixed a pearlescent watercolour paint from Kuretake with my solid coloured Faber-Castell watercolours to make my shades, and the pearlescent paint gave the china a bit of a ceramic feel! I’m using washi from London Gifties and some washi stickers from the Washi Tape Shop’s “Tea Temptations” set to fill in the gaps, but funnily enough not using any of their tea cup stickers - I didn’t want them to make mine look bad by comparison!

Calendar Page and Goals, Favourites & Musings Page

No monthly bujo layout is complete without a calendar to keep track of events and date-specific tasks and reminders. I’ve kept mine to one page this time. I’m using a magenta Pentel brush sign pen for all my lettering and line work too! I think it offsets those roses really nicely!

Content Planner Spread

The way this spread keeps me accountable with my Youtube and Instagram is so beneficial. I post weekly on Fridays, so I use the Youtube column to plan out my video order. The Instagram column is for carousel posts and reels. As I schedule things, I write them down here and work my way through the month.

Weekly Dashboard - Habit Trackers & Spending Log

I’ve been finding lately that I don’t want to turn back to a habit tracker page to fill it in, and not having the reminder of looking at my habit trackers means my habits haven’t been getting formed! I’m hoping that by tucking them onto an always-visible-from-my-weeklies page, I’ll be much more likely to use these trackers! On the other side, under the weekly Dutch door flaps, I’ve tucked my spending log.

I haven’t filled in any weekly info or allocated spaces for particular days - I want to try daily logging in this space for a while and just see how it goes!
