3 Easy Christmas Bujo Theme Ideas

So you want to feel festive in your journal, but maybe you’re strapped for cash, sick of seeing tinsel everywhere, or possibly even sweating it out in summer like me? Here are 3 easy collage style bujo layouts to help you save cash, shop your stash and still keep the Christmas spirit alive in your journal.

Watch the video below for the full process (including examples of how to incorporate it into functional spreads!) or scroll down for photos!

Theme 1: Catalogue Christmas

No Christmas themed papers, washi or stickers? No worries! All your need is a department or grocery store catalogue! All the photos on this spread were cut out of the Aussie Myer catalogue, and I mixed them up with some stickers and pens I already owned. A frosty pink Christmas look is perfect to help me feel cooler on our hot summer December days.

Theme 2: (Christmas) Wrap It Up

You don’t need to buy Christmas stationery - you probably already have plenty of wrapping paper left over from last year! Use patterned paper to line page edges or fill in empty blocks, and cut out smaller elements to glue down like stickers - just like I did on the calendar page below.

Theme 3: Vintage Christmas Vibes

Step away from the shopping cart, and shop your existing stationery stash instead! Using the classic Christmas red and green colour scheme loosely, I’ve devised this vintage Yuletide look using pastel green and pops of deep, rich red - mixed in with the beige tones of a classic vintage theme. Layer it up and you’re good to go for a gorgeous cosy Christmas, without spending a cent.
