September Reading Journal Pages - Stats, Book Club & Book Tracking
This is only my second month ever setting up month-specific pages in my reading journal, but I’m already having so much fun! This time I’m trying a calendar for tracking books read, some pie charts and a vibrant springtime colour scheme. Check out the video below to see it come together (as well as take a peek at what I’ve been reading in August)!
Cover Page & Reading Stats
The cover page is always just for fun and for the separation of this month from the previous. I’ve chosen to keep it minimal with yellow and peachy toned washi layered with a floral PET tape.
The stats page has evolved a little from last month to include a calendar - I’ll use this to visually represent the start and end dates of the books I read throughout the month. I usually have two going at once - one eBook on my Kindle and one audiobook!
Maybe Next (TBR) and September Reads
This looks like a big cavernous space for now, but at the end of September both of these pages will be full of book covers and star ratings! “Maybe Next” is what I call my To Be Read list - I don’t like making it sound like something I HAVE to do, and I might change my mind - I’m a big mood reader - so “maybe next” covers it well! The September Reads page is for everything I read in September that wasn’t part of my Maybe Next list. I usually read around 6-7 books a month so hopefully this will be very full and colourful at the end of the month!
Book Club Spread
I’m not sure yet what my Literary Ladies Book Club book will be for September, but when I know - it will go here! I really look forward to this book club each month - five girlfriends and I take turns choosing the book, then meet for lunch or dinner to chat about our thoughts on it. We all have very different tastes, so it makes for some really interesting discussions!
